Shipping & Mail Order Information - Including some updates for 2023

We do everything in our power to keep our shipping costs down, while maintaining good, secure and protective packaging for all of your purchases.

We gladly and proudly ship WORLDWIDE.

Shipping costs are calculated at the time of checkout by the automated shopping cart system, based upon your location, the number of items and final shipping weight of your order, and the shipping method you choose. You always have the opportunity to review this cost prior to finalizing an order.

Our cut-off deadline for Express Mail is 3:00pm (Pacific Time Zone) Monday through Friday. Of course, we accept Express Mail orders after that time - each and every day - but if an order is posted later than 3:00pm (Pacific Time Zone) we may not post it until the next business day.

When your order is placed we automatically send an email with your order confirmation.

When your order is shipped we automatically send an email with the USPS tracking information. If you don't find it, it might be in your spam folder, as it contains links.

If you prefer to order by mail (with check or money order) please contact us - prior to ordering - so that we can give you an accurate cost (as a rule of thumb, the approximate cost will be: the cost of the item plus $3.75 per item S&H):

Shipping & Mail Order Information - Including some updates for 2023

U.S. Postal Service Announces New Prices for 2023

Overall, Priority Mail service prices would increase approximately 5.5 percent, Priority Mail Express service prices would increase by 6.6 percent, and First-Class Package Service prices would increase by 7.8 percent. The PRC (Postal Regulatory Commission) will review the prices before they are scheduled to take effect, which is January 22, 2023. (They did.)

July 10, 2022 USPS Announces Postage Increase
On Sunday, July 10th, 2022 the USPS plan to increase their rates across the board for domestic and international shipping. The increases are approx. 6.8% over their last increase in January 9th, 2022. We are sorry for our domestic and international clients, but very soon we will be charging more for shipping (across all rates) just to keep apace of the USPS increases.
January 9, 2022 USPS Postage Increase
On Sunday, January 9th, 2022 the USPS increased their rates across the board for domestic and international shipping. The increases are from 2.8% to 15.8% over their last increase in 2021. Currently Abbey Flicks has not changed our shipping rates, but it is inevitable that we will very soon. We are sorry for our domestic and international clients, but very soon we will be charging more for shipping (across all rates) just to keep apace of the USPS increases. We will keep you up-to-date with these increases.
December 2, 2021 USPS UPDATE
The USPS is scheduled to increase their rates (across all products - First Class, Priority, Express and International shipping) as of 12/26/2021. We have, so far, held our shipping prices to a lower rate, but we may have to match their increases - just an FYI - nothing has been changed or decided yet.
October 3, 2021 USPS UPDATE:

We really don't know the full effect of this USPS changes yet, but we are trying to warn our customers of A POSSIBLE slow-down in delivery times (now and during the upcoming holiday season). We'll try to keep up-to-date with the USPS changes and inform you as soon as we have any further information.
The U.S. Postal Service will be changing delivery times for First Class Package Service in the coming months (starting October 3, 2021). The proposed changes are expected to create longer delivery times for parcels traveling to farther distances.

First Class Package Service is an ounce-based shipping service with the maximum weight of 15.999 ounces. The service provides package delivery nationwide within 1 to 4 days including tracking. (We ask that you currently expect 3 - 5 business days in transit.) The suggested service change will remove air transport for First Class Package Service delivery to help lower costs and find transportation efficiencies. Currently, approximately 31% of First Class Package Service is transported via air carriers.

In fiscal year 2020, the USPS shipped 1.8 billion packages via First Class Package Service. Of that volume, the proposal would impact:

• 32% of the total First Class Package Service parcels shipped in FY 2020 (primarily Zones 6, 7 and 8) would see additional delivery time, moving from a three-day service standard to a four or five-day standard.

• 64% of the total First Class Package Service volume would not be impacted at all.

First Class Package Service delivery volume has increased in recent years due to its low cost and faster delivery times being very appealing to online retailers.

As of January 27, 2019 the USPS will increase its costs for shipping. We will attempt to (as always) keep your shipping costs as low as possible, but here is the latest (from a Post Office News Release):

WASHINGTON — The United States Postal Service filed notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) today of price changes to take effect Jan. 27, 2019.

The proposed prices, approved by the Governors of the Postal Service, would raise Mailing Services product prices approximately 2.5 percent. Shipping Services price increases vary by product. For example, Priority Mail Express will increase 3.9 percent and Priority Mail will increase 5.9 percent. Although Mailing Services price increases are based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI), Shipping Services prices are primarily adjusted according to market conditions. The Governors believe these new rates will keep the Postal Service competitive while providing the agency with needed revenue.

All that being said, Abbey Flicks will very likely have to increase our charges for shipping - both Domestic and International. We make every effort to keep our costs as low as we possibly can for our customers, while still being able to offer our unique products. To date we have not increased our shipping costs to our customers, but that seems inevitable in the near future.
